I finished Wizard and Glass this morning, and after weeping manly tears (which had absolutely nothing to do with teenage love I just had something in my eye) I am now drawing again after … probably a month?

Guess who’s roughly 20 years late to the party.
After being convinced to read the Dark Tower series I kind of sort of demolished the first four books in five days. So here’s some Wizard-and-Glass Roland because even as a 14 year old he could probably take Batman in a fair fight.
I haven’t read past the first four books yet so don’t say shit about them, I will definitely kill you through the Internet.
edit: God damn hats.

The Genderless Baby
Two very progressive parents in Canada are raising their baby without telling anyone the gender.
The article assumes gender binary (I.e., assuming the baby should ultimately identify as either male or female and not between or neither), which makes it kind of wince-worthy to read. But still absolutely fascinating to me, not only due to the horrified reactions this is getting, but the potential of how the child could grow up with almost open gender identity.
The terror people feel at this toddler being addressed as neither male nor female is depressing. Yes, it’s sad that Storm could face discrimination and prejudice over this—but I’m fully prepared to blame society for that, not parents who want a child to grow up being comfortable with exactly who they are.
